Overview
What I built.
An SPG Technologies client project: a React Native mobile companion for SalesNayak that connects a web-based field-sales platform with native device capabilities including location permissions, periodic tracking and Firebase-powered notifications.
Challenge
The problem.
Bridge an existing web application with native mobile capabilities while handling modern permission rules, background-location disclosure and actionable push notifications.
Contribution
What I did.
Integrated the SalesNayak web application inside a React Native WebView with two-way message handling.
Implemented foreground/background location permission flows and periodic field-location updates.
Synchronised employee/company identifiers and device tokens with backend APIs.
Integrated Firebase Cloud Messaging and Notifee for foreground and launch-time notifications.
Added notification actions for deep navigation and call handling.
